Discover Portland’s hidden mysteries with your Valentine with Urban Adventure Quest, which turns Portland into a giant game board!

Urban Adventure Quest has created an interactive scavenger hunt that combines the fun of the Amazing Race with a three-hour sightseeing tour of Portland. Guided from any smart phone, groups make their way among well-known and overlooked gems of the city, solving clues and completing challenges while learning local history.

The adventure begins in the heart of downtown at Pioneer Courthouse Square and takes you on a journey to see the best sights of the city. From the Arts district to Powell’s bookstore and Voodoo Doughnuts … as well as amazing stops in between, you will enjoy all that Portland has to offer. The tour requires approximately 2.4 miles of walking and you will also experience the city’s famous street cars.

Using a smart phone as “the guide” allows participants to start when they want and determine their own pace of play. Stop to enjoy lunch or take in the sights… why not, it’s your schedule? Offered at a fixed price for a group vs. per person pricing, this city tour/game offers a great value to those on a budget.

This sounds like the perfect thing to do with my husband and 2 teens that are 15 & 17 years old. Actually something I feel we “need” to bring us together to spend quality time, communicate with each other to get my son and husband away from video games and my daughter who just stays in her bedroom. I’m a mom who would so appreciate winning this for the sake of my family having a fun, bonding, learning experience and an Amazing memory to do something together. This sounds like something really fun to do, as I’ve never heard of something like this before. Thank You for the opportunity to win this!

  24. Lauren H February 12, 2016 at 5:27 pm #

I’d love to win! My best friend of a year is finally starting to have feelings back for me and I want to have a fun silly date now that he’s agreed to go on one, and best part is he isn’t from Portland so it would be a cool way to show him my city! I hope we could win this.

Sounds like a blast!!! Want to do it so bad!!!

  28. Rachelle February 14, 2016 at 9:03 am #

I’m new to the area, after moving here based on the awesomeness of Oregon and my love of nature and adventure without even visiting first before setting out across country, solo. I have a friend who is also new to the area and we are both too broke to buy tickets. This is the kind of thing that is perfect for those of us that don’t know where to go to really “see” Portland, and the best way to explore a city is to just start walking! We’d appreciate the hell out of those free tickets, and I’d take lots of purdy pictures documenting our adventure.

  29. Steela Jo February 14, 2016 at 2:14 pm #

How fun!! This would be perfect for me, seeing how I’m new to Portland!!
