Funhouse Lounge is proud to present Date Night Double Feature!

Do You Believe in Love at First Sight (or Should I Walk In Again?) Holly has tried just about everything to meet her Prince Charming, to no avail. So she’s resigned herself to that last resort of the lovelorn: speed dating. Come laugh along with this comedic one-act about trying to meet that special someone in this short-attention-span world. Written by Funhouse favorite Landy Hite, it’s for those who love (to laugh).

Secrets, Lies, & Alibis: A delightful unscripted one-act drama. Two couples meet at a dinner party. Our audience will provide each character a secret and that will be known only to them. Hidden desires, past indiscretions, or unspoken longings reveal themselves somewhere between the appetizer and the dessert. Enjoy the delight of being in the moment as these actors create a new and different story each night.

Looks like fun. I have a date coming up from the Bay Area for a first date. She is worried that I might be a psychotic axe murderer… so I am looking for things to do that make me seem normal.

I live so close to this venue and yet I have never gone inside! I want to stop being an outsider looking in and experience the fun of the Funhouse! I love to watch me some stand up, I love to do me some sitting down, and I love winning the opportunity to do both!
