After rocking the Halloween party with over 500 people at Hawthorne Theater & now freshly back from his shows in Pune (India), Bay Area, Chicago & Spokane DJ Prashant returns to the historic Hawthorne Theatre for Portland’s Bollywood NEW YEAR’S EVE party. And he is bringing some of Portland’s best performers together for a grand celebration to make you dance into 2016, Bollywood style.

This will be a massive night full of non-stop entertainment featuring dance lesson & party with Prashant, Belly Dance & Samba fusion dance performances by Dancers of Baksana & Laura Blake, Justina Joy Nashif on LED Hula Hoop & the crowd favorite Jai Ho! Dance Troupe along with the renowned percussionist Marcio DaLari & his ensemble’s Bhangra-meets-Samba set.

    My fiance and I have a scheduled wedding at the end of January and would like to do something special with her for NYE. This event would be perfect for us since we’re both huge fans of music and are musicians ourselves.     Dec. 31st, 2012 was my first Jai Ho! Bollywood New Year’s Eve party – Weeks after moving to PDX from Los Angeles. I, indeed attended the party in 2013 and 2014. Why would make this year so amazing? For the first time, my family (from France, Canada, Miami, New York) have chosen to come drop the new year ball with me in the beautiful city of Portland. wow!
    That is why winning these 5 tickets would make Jai Ho! a momentum year-end celebration.
