Portland Art Museum Mark Building
1119 SW Park Ave, Portland, OR

Once again, Beloved Presents invites the community to dance and rejoice with their creative family at the Portland Art Museum on December 31, 2015. A stunning, art-filled and transformative environment will inspire clarity of intent fueled by joyful celebration and the danciest dance music in the galaxy. Together, the event attendees will cultivate the joy, heart and love that they wish to bring into the new year.

“More than any other day of the year, New Year’s Eve is the day when we believe that real change is possible for ourselves and for our world,” said InspireTruth creator Elliot Rasenick. “InspireTruth is meant to be a reunion for, and the greatest party ever for, those who will do the work to facilitate the transformation that is needed at this time.”

Located at 1119 SW Park Ave, the Portland Art Museum’s Mark Building was originally built as a Masonic Temple nearly one hundred years ago. Featuring two of Portland’s most magnificent ballrooms, each with elegant marble and glass foyers, the building combines the grandeur of a bygone era with state-of- the-art production capabilities.

InspireTruth’s two stages, two lounges and many interactive environments will all build upon the time-honored majesty of the venue to create a futuristic gathering space for powerful ceremony and thrilling celebration.

InspireTruth is an alternative to the standard New Year’s Eve celebration. Although chaos and debauchery can be important parts of any New Year’s Eve, your basest desires and your loftiest aspirations are all welcome at InspireTruth. Attendees should be open to the possibility of real change for themselves and for the world – and a ridiculously fun night of inspired celebration.

  44. Sam December 4, 2015 at 7:26 pm #

I moved to Portland in June with my boyfriend from the east coast in aims of starting fresh and welcoming in change to our lives. So far it has been amazing, but going to this event would make it unforgettable. My birthday is on New Years day, I used to despise my birthday because I felt like having it on a holiday took away from the feeling of turning another year older. Now I love my birthday because it gives me a chance to experience another year and new, fresh me, because I feel as though I am growing with the earth. This is what I see Inspire Truth to be partially representative of, growth, change, and joy. I would absolutely love to attend this event with my boyfriend and get to indulge in such an amazing experience, meeting new and lovely people at the same time. Nothing could result in a better birthday!

WOW WOW Okay, I have yet to attend a really cool New Years Eve bash and this would be amazing. My fiance and I were talking about wanting to find something to dress up for and bring in 2016 in an EPIC way. We are very grateful for 2015 (we got engaged-yay!) and 2016 will be the year of the big day. Now to stop sounding like a complete cheeseball…(rolled in nuts)…we need a night to remember. This was also a year we spent too much time apart because of crazy schedules and this would be the ULTIMATE way to toast love, health and happiness of 2015, including the growth and lessons learned…and to enter a new year with hope to make it even better than the last. :)

One of my good friends went to this last year and it sounded out of this world. I always have too high of expectations for NYE and end up disappointed. I have a feeling this could actually live up to my expectations for a change. Also, my new years resolution is to get out of the house and experience the city more. Sounds like a great kick off to a great year.

Such an incredible event. Bring on 2016.

  117. Kaelin December 11, 2015 at 11:01 am #

Why have a VIP lounge at a party that is premised on inclusion and collaborative, creative change? Seems like it utterly defeats the purpose to me. I know this is the comment section to win tickets, but I don’t care.

  118. John Thomas December 11, 2015 at 4:57 pm #

    sounds too cool

  119. Eva December 11, 2015 at 6:20 pm #

Ringing in the new year at the classiest art museum I know? I can’t think of a better way to spend the evening!

  121. Julie D. December 11, 2015 at 8:49 pm #

What an elegant way to ring in the new year. It sounds heavenly! Bring on change for 2016!

  122. annie December 12, 2015 at 8:29 am #

One of my yoga students is playing this event. It looks like magic. I would totally go if I won. Honestly, for what’s included, the ticket price is AWESOME! It’s just that, I used to have money, now I have a yoga studio ;)~

  123. annie December 12, 2015 at 8:34 am #

Oh! I was supposed to say WHY I want to go!

I moved here just in March, and am finding community in my yoga studio. And, I want to EXPAND the number of people, and the kind of people, I get to interact with! My partner is an artist and I am a yoga teacher, and this looks like our crowd! The clothes! The hair! The make up! The music! The performers! It all looks WONDERFUL! Such an experience for the senses! And among some of the best folk, creative, open in heart and mind, expressive, progressive and filled with FUN and JOY!
That’s why I want to go! And also to see Katie play! Which would be SO cool! Thanks so much Aran Cruz for turning me on to PDXpipeline! Happy joyous holidays! Merry merry New Year! Celebrate the season when we are reminded – gathering with family and friends – that there is light on the darkest night, and morning will come around again.

  124. maria December 12, 2015 at 10:52 am #

a celebration of the timeless, the meaningful, the purpose. the real. a shift in our modern time towards something our species is only beginning now to experience, to realize…. wordless for this world.

  125. Sarah December 12, 2015 at 12:29 pm #

    Sounds fabulous!

  126. Erika December 12, 2015 at 3:30 pm #

When my husband and I were first dating, we decided that we wanted to “do something new” every month. Unfortunately “doing something new” is harder than it seems when the doldrums of life take over. Perhaps we need a little kick in the tush to remind us to keep exploring the new and different around us, and to continue to be inspired by – and find a way be inspiring to – those around us!

  127. Ed December 13, 2015 at 4:11 am #

To be shaken and stirred from my core.
What a wonderful way to re-center for a New Year !

  128. Katrina S December 13, 2015 at 12:04 pm #

    Wow

After a year of turmoil and catalysis
    Of learning, refining, and strengthening,
Of beauty, dark and light; of joy and pain and catharsis and stagnation and being and everything else that we ALL experience, together but separate, in our own lives and in our own ways,

All I can say is that I’ve wanted to attend Beloved Gathering for a while now, and I hope I get to see all of these artists for the first time THIS NYE!

I would bring smiles, hugs, love, light, a beautiful friend, an open heart, and dancing FEET!!

A quick story for interested readers:

I quit smoking cigarettes after a ten-year streak since the age of 13. 10 December, 2015 marks the date on which a pivotal transformation of my self manifested. Each day is a struggle, and each day’s passing without tobacco is in itself, a fulfilling reward! I am eradicating nicotine from my life in every sense of the word; I am not using any aids, or “enablers,” as I like to call them. A tsunami of wicked cravings washes over me once a day thus far. I sit, I close my eyes, and I practice my breathing.

    It is gone.

    Goodbye, addiction.

    I can LIVE!!!

    So can you! Believe in yourself. Whatever you may be struggling with right now, it is nothing that a few minutes of breathing cannot remedy;
You problems might not be “fixed,” but YOU are.

Love, light, and blessings to all of you!

    Happy Winter!!

    • annie December 18, 2015 at 12:09 pm #

Thank you SO much for sharing your story!

Be a light in the darkness!
      Be FOR people!
Step into your biggest best self!

To celebrate your FREEDOM from smoking, come and take a yoga class on me at yogaRIOT. I am Annie, the owner, and I am here every day but Tuesday. Just remind me we interacted here!
We’ll use your breath to learn even more about your body and mind.

I would like to attend. I feel drawn to this event and I know I would have the experience of a lifetime, if it’s in the cards for me at this time.I do not have the money to buy tickets, but if it’s meant to work out I know it will! I love the idea behind inspire truth where everyone comes together and manifests the next year with love and compassion and positivity through community and dance. I would love to be a part of it. If not this year, then a year soon when I can afford it. I know I’ll be there at some point because I know this community is the one I am already part of! The most magical of new years and a full year of happiness to you all <3.

My sister and I are 2 educators dedicated to making the world a more peaceful place. We also believe that art can be a driver of this goal. I am the Academic Director of United World College Costa Rica whose mission is to ‘make education a force to unite people, nations, and cultures for peace and a sustainable future.’ I work with students from over 70 countries who come from diverse socio-economic backgrounds, and I can say that World Peace is possible. Our students have roommates who may be their mortal enemies. After 2 years at UWC, they see they have much more in common as human beings. My sister is an art educator in rural oregon, who luckily, was able to fall back on her classroom certification when all the arts programs were cut. She works with highly disadvantaged youth and has had amazing success motivating them to see that not only can they learn, but that they, too, can make a difference. This is a wonderful opportunity for us to celebrate our passions and the notion that art can change the world.

Because the first year that I moved to Portland, I didn’t know a single soul and played arcade games at Ground Kontrol where some Canadians adopted me for the night and got me drunk (so that was cool). Last year was spent in Seattle (not cool). And this year I’m back, baybeh! It’d be nice to have a great party to go to!

  133. Jane December 13, 2015 at 4:52 pm #

“Attendees should be open to the possibility of real change for themselves and for the world”
During this past year, I’ve experienced more change than any other time in my life. Where there is comfort in routine, I’ve found the change to be liberating. Adventure is something I need more of in my life. An event like this could be something I’d wanted to avoid, albeit interested in. Time to step further out of my comfort zone, while staying fairly frugal, as finances are low. I’d love to experience this with a partner. A great way to cap off my enlightened year of 2015.

  149. Michelle December 14, 2015 at 8:25 pm #

The reason I would want to go with my gf every year I’ve gone to those big kind of “big bros” events. And after last year I’m kind of done it was a terrible experience. My friend went to this event and said it was the best New Years event he’s ever been too. I saw the trailer it looks amazing just a bunch of ppl not caring what u look like or wearing just there to to celebrate and ring in the new year. Also I got all my friends to go but due to financial means I wouldn’t be able to buy tickets for me and my gf. So that would be the reason I would want to go.if not I’m sure this will be a great experience for all.

  242. Melissa December 22, 2015 at 7:24 pm #

To be honest I read everyone’s comments and think, I wish I could speak in such a graceful way lol.

It would be awesome to win tickets to this event! I am trying to surprise my boyfriend with something that we can experience together. I am not much of a gift giver unless I have made the item myself such as quilting or scrap booking. Other than that I feel the gift of experience is the best gift you can give. We haven’t spent much time in Portland on New Years, we mostly go to Seattle and always have the time of our lives but this year funds are tight (I’m sure i’m not the only one!) Would love the chance to experience a more spiritual and unique event.
    Good luck to everyone! <3
