About Life During Wartime
The Stop Making Sense Talking Heads concert film is, in our opinion, the most brilliant concert film of all time. That is why we have dedicated ourselves to working up to putting on the best replication of this trend setting production, complete with costuming, choreography, theatrical props and all the signature licks. And just in time to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the film!!

We named the band Life During Wartime because it seemed so “of the times” and, besides that, has there ever really been Life Without War on our planet? Long past the point of making sense. Wish it weren’t so….guess we can keep on dancing and hope that someday it all starts making sense.

Oh how I would LOVE to dance to a LIVE recreation of one of the greatest concert movies ever!
I really want to see this but I’m unemployed so winning tix is my only hope.
I’m no Psycho Killer but dare I say winning these tickets would be Heaven & I would Thank You For Sending Me An Angel. Maybe it help me network with some Slippery People & maybe later I could say I Found A Job. I know the band will be Burning Down The House they’re called Life During Wartime! This is a Once In A Lifetime opportunity to dance in the Swamp! I’m no Genius Of Love but Making Flippy Floppy with Girlfriend Is Better when she says Take Me To The River, This Must Be The Place! By the end of the night we’ll all be Cross-Eyed And Painless & we’ll wake up saying What A Day That Was!!

I’d like to win because I’d LOVE to go to this event! Stop Making Sense is, hands down, the GREATEST concert film EVER! I’ve always loved Talking Heads and still am an avid follower of David Byrne (both art and music). To see this music performed live, would be EVERYTHING!

I would love to see this performance! I keep hearing about how great Life During Wartime is, and this would be a great first show for me to see them! I have watched recordings of the Stop Making Sense concert and I literally get goosebumps every time they get to the song Burning Down the House. I hope they have background singers and choreography planned, because if they don’t I will be tempted to jump up on stage and do the running man.
