ABOUT THE SHOC FOUNDATION
The Sherie Hildreth Ovarian Cancer Foundation was founded by Sherie Hildreth in 2005 and is a 100% volunteer operated 501c3 nonprofit organization. Determined to find a cure, the Foundation makes an annual gift to the Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) Knight Cancer Institute specifically for ovarian and gynecologic cancer research. To date the Foundation has contributed $650,000. Sherie’s five-year battle with ovarian cancer ended in 2009, but her legacy lives on. The SHOC Walk & Run commemorates and celebrates her courageous fight, her will to support women living with gynecologic cancers and her relentless pursuit to raise awareness and the funds necessary to find a cure.

Newly committed to improving the health of my family and myself, this would be a great event to support. I am familiar with how serious this illness is and would love to support Improving diagnosis, longevity and a cure. Gladstone, a surprising gem, would be a fun walk.
