In 2012, Haley Johnsen took the big stage as a top 24 finalist of the 11th season of the network television behemoth American Idol. Haley’s passion for singing did not publically emerge until a few years before deciding to audition for the demanding reality show. Her appearance on the program landed her a spot on an alternate tour called “Idol World Tour” where she performed on military bases in Europe, and The Middle East. Her monumental experience quickly launched her toward her newly formed career path as a singer songwriter. Her EP, Through The Blue, is the culminating result of her experiences on Idol and her time spent since as a budding singer-songwriter in the Pacific Northwest
My Brothers and I
My Brothers And I are a fast-rising, Portland-based group of siblings and their childhood friends. Music full of infectious grooves and smooth vocal harmonies are fronted by the stunning vocals of David Wurgler. They’ve recently headlined iconic venues like Hotel Cafe, Doug Fir and have been featured on radio stations across the west coast, including KCRW Los Angeles’ popular music program Morning Becomes Eclectic. The band just signed to Expunged Records (Blind Pilot, Priory) and will release their debut full-length album later this year.
