I’d love this chance to attend Portland’s Holi celebration because it would give me the chance to experience something new! I love nothing more than to immerse myself in cultures unlike my own and this is one I could experience not far from home with people in my community. It looks like all smiles and laughter and I can’t think of any other way I’d love to celebrate spring than with the festival of light!

  9. Ray March 21, 2015 at 2:06 pm #

my RED, so powdery like pollen, like clouds of flame retardant in parched forest air …
my YELLOW, so shyly gently floating, puffy sunbeam spraybombs like clouds of barbie hair …

BLUE are the life-giving waters, deep purple the turn, as they wash it all away …
PINK are the cheeks of the smiling happy person, lucky little Ray if she gets to say today …

    OOOOooh, this sounds so fu-u-un
    (yeah yeah yeah)
    OOOOooh, this sounds so fu-u-u-un!
    (yeah yeah yeaHHHH!)

Thank you, thank you very much.
