Appears to be a great workshop for those of us looking to jump the grand canyon! Would really enjoy the opportunity to go.

I have a great job at the library but an entrepreneurial spirit – would love some solid building blocks for taking some next steps – plus anything I learn I’ll share with the patrons that come into the library! I have a potential business partner I’d bring with. Thank you!

Have thought about doing this very thing for quite a while so I would love to be able to attend this workshop. The price s prohibiting for me, but winning tickets would be awesome!

Quit my job? I haven’t even worked my first real job! I will be a fresh college grad this coming December with many visions of business I want to open. Pick me for these free tickets so I can get a better understanding of what it takes to “make the leap!” I moved to Oregon two years ago via baseball scholarship at WOU from California and have fallen in love with PDX. I never thought in a million years I would want to leave the sunshine but Portland is everything I’ve been looking for and I can’t wait to open up a shop in the Pearl District.

My part-time retail job isn’t very fulfilling. My coworker and I have been discussing starting our own business, but it’s an overwhelming task and we don’t really know where to start! This workshop would be a huge help to us, and winning tickets would help us save for start-up costs. Thanks!

  6. lunda October 1, 2014 at 11:12 am #

been hard trying to find a job, so need that extra push to start my own business…this would be so helpful.

  7. Lindsay W. October 1, 2014 at 7:29 pm #

I recently started my own company, and have been busting my bum to get it off the ground, while also working a ‘full time’ job. I would absolutely love to be a part of this workshop. The price is a little daunting (my savings and any extra money I have are tied up in my new start up), so winning tickets would be an unbelievable and absolutely cherished gift. It sounds like this workshop is exactly the push I need to get myself out of the draining corporate world and pursue my dreams, in the well-calculated way I have been seeking!

  9. Cody Lee October 2, 2014 at 1:31 pm #

I love developing new skills and learning how to better myself, the idea of being able to network with like minded people would be amazing as well.

I’d love to reinvest into myself vs investing my energy into somebody else’s ideas

Wow! Not only do I live in Mt. Tabor but I also frequent Tabor Space and love the space and coffee shop. I am a corporate refugee who escaped from the cubicle last year to embark on a self-discovery and travel sabbatical and I am READY to use my entrepreneurial spirit and get my dream idea going. Mostly my challenge is in execution and I can really use the help of this course. Hope I am the lucky one. :)

I have been employed in the public arena for most of my life.

My boyfriend just quit his job of 4 years at the ever-loved Toro Bravo to start his own business. This was a HUGE leap of faith for him to take, which of course I fully supported since this is his dream. A class like this would be wonderful for us. Knowledge IS power. Not to mention that Portland needs more young, community-rooted business owners to continue to make this city the great NW gem that it is!

  26. Felica October 6, 2014 at 7:56 pm #

This is a big leap of faith… God knows I need change and this is a great opportunity… Help me please!!!

  27. Rhonda Hunter October 7, 2014 at 2:21 am #

I retired two years ago and I’ve been caretaker for my granddaughter since then. She will be going to pre school soon.

I’m ready to reinvent myself. I’ve had small business ventures in the past and I would be interested in having an “enjoyable job” at this time in my life.

  28. Brian T. October 7, 2014 at 10:00 am #

I’ve had a great business idea for years but even after a lot of research on how to make the idea a reality, I am still struggling with how to write a business plan and cohesively put it all together into an actual business model. I feel this seminar would help me greatly, and I’d love to win tickets.

  29. Athena T. October 7, 2014 at 10:02 am #

I’d love to win tickets – I’d take my husband and hopefully we both could learn more about how best to start up a business – this is a dream he’s been wanting to make a reality for years, and I’m sure the seminar would help us both see more clearly how to pursue our goals.

  30. Ashley C. October 7, 2014 at 10:33 am #

My mother and I are in the dream stage of becoming business owners. We have a successful idea for a business here in Portland, but we need that extra confidence and knowledge to push forward.

My mother has been working for the same company for years and I have been bouncing around in different career areas and in and out of college. We are both bored with our current occupations and know we are capable of so much more!

This seminar will give us the tools and knowledge we need to begin our business endeavors! Please select us for the free tickets!

  31. Julie October 7, 2014 at 11:45 am #

  32. Jennifer October 7, 2014 at 1:09 pm #

I recently went out on my own and started my own business! I want to see this succeed and the timing for this is ideal. I hope I win a ticket!! :)

  33. Alice October 7, 2014 at 5:13 pm #
