The intersection of SE 34th and Belmont.
The 19th Annual Belmont Street Fair is September 13th, 2014 from 11AM to 7PM. SE Belmont Street will be closed to car traffic from SE 33rd to SE 39th Avenue.
The streets will be filled with the lively sights that can only be seen on Belmont. A grassy park known as Central Park takes up the intersection of SE 34th and Belmont. The Historic Belmont Fire House will be on open for free tours. Other sights include an Artist Alley, Games at the Hobnob Grille, Pony Rides, Free Bouncy Course for kids, beloved children’s performers Olive and Dingo, great music and beer gardens.
Most of the great retail on the strip will be on display as well. Twill, Za Zen, Blythe & Bennett Records, Tao of Tea and Yarnia will all be joining over 200 vendors showing their unique and impressive wares.
The great eateries on the street will be expanding their seating on Fair day as well. Zupan’s Market, Laughing Planet, Suzette Creperie, Triple Nickel Pub and Blue Basil Thai will all be coming out on the Street.
Free trolley rides will be offered from SE 20th Avenue through SE 48th along SE Belmont St. Take a free ride on the trolley to our amazing food cart pod Good Food Here.
The Fair could not be made possible without the support and sponsorship of our local businesses. Zupan’s Markets, Advantis Credit Union and the Belmont Dairy are all major financial supporters of the Fair. Additional support comes from Stumptown Coffee Roasters, Pro Sound & Lighting, Smart Car, Laughing Planet and the Good Food Here Food Cart Pod.
It would also not be made possible without the great volunteer efforts of both the Belmont Area Business Association and the Sunnyside Neighborhood Association.
Please come out and enjoy the sights that can only be seen on SE Belmont Street!
