Always keep a bottle of champagne in the fridge for special occasion. Sometimes that special occasion is that you have a bottle of champagne in the fridge… Is my actual life motto. I would love to try those which I can not afford to have in my fridge.

I’d love to take my wife to this. Next month is our 10 year anniversary. And our favorite drink is champagne there is something so luxurious about it. I remember the first time we drank a bottle of champagne, watched Horton Hears a Who, and played dominos. We were giggling all night long! Also my birthday is the 27th so this would be a great way to wrap up my birthday week!

  31. Jacqui O. November 21, 2013 at 11:11 pm #

I want to go! My friends and I really enjoy wine tasting, but I’ve never gone to a champagne tasting. And, yes. I HAVE wondered what could possibly make some of those bottles so expensive… :)

  54. Desiree Disotell November 25, 2013 at 4:16 pm #

Oooh! Ooooh! Pick me! Pick me!! Why? Because this event happens right smack in the middle of the Holiday Season and I just need those bubbles to get through it!! Great big magic bubbles…

  55. Courtney November 25, 2013 at 6:37 pm #

Question: The best way to spend a Saturday during this cold weather snap?
Answer: Supporting a local business and taking part in the community by watching the Christmas Ship Parade!
Also, It really helps that sampling sparkling wine keeps me warm and makes me want to spend money on bubbly to bring home to enjoy myself or to share for hostess gifts this holiday season! I can throw nautical terms around too,”This champagne makes me want to dance from port to starboard!”
Clearly, I would be a charming addition to this event because sparkling wine in the middle of the day IS my calling.

  56. Erica Baze November 25, 2013 at 11:00 pm #

Never realized how good ‘real’ Champagne was until I got the opportunity to go to Champagne, France this past summer! Now I can’t drink the cheap stuff you find easily in the US anymore…but I can’t afford the good stuff either! This event sounds so awesome.

  57. Brandalyn Taylor November 26, 2013 at 8:08 am #

Another great event to attend! Sounds bubbly :)

  58. Bjoern November 26, 2013 at 10:24 am #

  59. Ellen OMalley November 26, 2013 at 10:33 am #

My birthday is in December and I would love to have wonderful things to do besides sit at home this year! Besides, it sounds like a wonderful event, who wouldn’t love to go.

  60. Brian November 26, 2013 at 11:01 am #

7 years ago I was in France during school and a couple of my friends bought a $350 bottle of wine to see what the hoopla was about. It was a major expense. While I did not pitch in nor did I garner a spendy taste, I was rather surprised when none of my friends thought the wine was that great. This has been a mystery to me since that day. I cannot afford expensive drinks, and I enjoy a good Trader Joes under 5 buck deal. My wife and I just recently married three weeks ago and we would love to spend an evening together dispelling the myth of the expensive alcohol mystery. A night on the town celebrating with local businesses and enjoying the warmth of the Christmas season sounds like a wonderful treat for two who don’t seem to have the resources or time to enjoy an event such as this!

  61. Laurie November 26, 2013 at 4:03 pm #

Oh MY! So many responses…it’s a longshot, but enter me anyway. SOunds like a great date night!

  62. Roya November 26, 2013 at 4:08 pm #

    this looks awesome!

  63. Michael November 26, 2013 at 8:11 pm #

Because I drink champagne while I cook, and I go mad for tastings of my favorite fluid. And because you can trust I would show up to the event dripping in gold and sportin’ the sexiest turban you have ever seen on a man. I’m talking gems…perhaps a feather… Depends on you. And finally, because I can facilitate a wicked after party and I need an excuse to debut my new moves – champagne shoft shoe… or the “cha-sho-shoe” if you’re a couple glasses in… I don’t want to ramble. Pick me.

Cheers! *((8-D (eye contact, and don’t even think about puttin’ that glass down)

  64. Marissa November 27, 2013 at 11:56 am #
