From high-end, ultralight racing bikes to the utility cargo bikes that are becoming ever more popular in Oregon, the builders and their bikes will all be on display.

Vendors of custom messenger bags, totes, lights, and other accessories and bike art will be on hand as well as suppliers to frame builders, such as tubing-supplier Reynolds, Intl who will travel from the UK for the show will all be showing their wares.

About the OBCA: The Oregon Bicycle Constructors Association is a community of builders, suppliers, and enthusiasts supporting the art and spirit of hand-built bicycles. The non-profit organization, established in 2007, aims to speak as a collective voice for the needs of Oregon’s vibrant community of custom and small-production frame builders.

Been drooling over handmade frames for over 35 years ever since Jim Merz worked out of Cyclecrafts basement and Andy Newlands started Strawberry in Oldtown. Hope to finally make it happen with the help of a master fabricator that is a good friend and will be doing it his first bicycle frame.

I would LOVE to attend this event!! First of all, my 9-yr-old and I are makers – we had a booth at the recent Portland Maker Faire. Secondly, we fondly remember the crazy bikes someone brought to the Bay Area Maker Faire in San Mateo, CA. We could have spent all day there. Thirdly, my son LOVES BIKES. He loves to talk about them, ride them, deck them out with gadgets, you name it. Finally, Portland Parkways was cancelled for this Sunday. What other bike event could we possibly attend other than this?

    Thanks PDX Pipeline!
