Ah fall cocktails, the time when I start drinking darker liquors.

Depending on the time of day I would suggest an Old Fashioned or a Manhattan.

  2. Natalyia September 17, 2013 at 12:05 pm #

A strawberry lemonade lemon drop. This drink keeps me dreaming of summer and helps me make it through the rainy season of PDX

  3. Abe September 17, 2013 at 12:06 pm #

Nothing better than a fall day with an Irish Coffee in hand!

  4. Penny September 17, 2013 at 12:08 pm #

Might be weird but I enjoy Bloody Mary’s much more in the fall.

    Thanks PDX Pipeline!!

  5. Mariah B. September 17, 2013 at 12:12 pm #

My favorite fall cocktail would be a port old fashioned

  6. Gillian Mohr September 17, 2013 at 12:14 pm #

My favorite early autumn cocktail is the Jack Rose!

  7. Dee September 17, 2013 at 12:22 pm #

  8. Gigi September 17, 2013 at 12:26 pm #

A nice spiced rum and coke!

  11. Bryn September 17, 2013 at 1:35 pm #

A Cuba Libre is very nice in the Fall. If I can’t get any Havana Club I’ll go with Pyrat.

  12. Matt September 17, 2013 at 1:55 pm #

Well I would have to go with either a Moscow Mule, or my old faithful a whiskey- ginger with a splash of bitters

  13. Renata September 17, 2013 at 2:52 pm #

    Shopping and cocktails? Clever!

  14. Caitlin Sheaffer September 17, 2013 at 2:55 pm #

Nothing like a Johnny Jump-Up on a chilly night. It’s a shot of Jameson in a pint of hard cider and it’ll warm you from the inside out.

  15. Yume September 17, 2013 at 3:13 pm #

Can’t go wrong with a good Dark & Stormy

  16. Lindsay September 17, 2013 at 3:54 pm #

Dirty Vodka martini. Great compliment to the boots and scarf I’ll be digging out of the closet soon

Favorite fall cocktail? Spiced cranberry vodka! (regular cranberry vodka + a cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves infused simple syrup + soda water = unusual and seasonal delight!)

  21. sean September 18, 2013 at 7:30 pm #

Fall drinks…Hmmm…That’s an easy one! Irish Pumpkin Pie: 3 parts pumpkin cider + 1 part Irish Cream!

Gin and tonic is my all year cocktail. I don’t venture to far when it comes to booze.

  30. Olivia September 19, 2013 at 2:32 pm #

I LOVE Glüwein (German Mulled Wine) which is not really a cocktail, per se, but contains Rum… so I’m counting it! Jake’s Grill makes the best with a twist of orange. I can’t wait for it to get colder so I can make a mug.

  31. Kel September 19, 2013 at 2:33 pm #

This event sounds like so much fun! I’d love a chance to learn more firsthand from the local distilleries!

My new favorite is something the bartender at Gilt made for his mood drink in July. It was warm out but the drink tasted like Christmas! Almost made me excited for cold weather, just to have a good reason to make it.

  60. Carly September 20, 2013 at 8:45 am #
