Each song on Onuinu’s debut full-length Mirror Gazer is teeming with raw wood grains over which to run your fingers and exposed rafters through which to follow countless reverberations. It is a sprawling, mixed-use space where ambient electronica, hip-hop and house music convene to talk in circles about the universe, and frankly, for Onuinu aka Dorian Duvall, it’s just the beginning.

The national press raves about Wampire’s debut Curiousity:
Wampire sounds like every good moment of New York’s early-00s breakout bands.” – Vice

“Delicately arranged, grainy, and off-kilter psych-pop” – SPIN

“Shimmering bass and synth-infused boogie” – FILTER

FRESH. is an innovative electronic dance party. This month’s edition is a label takeover night by the budding LA-based dance label BODY HIGH.

Samo Sound Boy is a Los Angeles based producer and DJ whose powerful live sets and original productions have brought him to the forefront of today’s forward-minded club scene. Having earned his chops DJing at Fugees 99, a Nigerian-owned dancehall in the south end of Buenos Aires, Samo compounded influences picked up there with a love of crunk, club, and Chicago house. The result remains a uniquely rugged but soulful sound of his own. In addition to having released an array of highly acclaimed remixes and original material, Samo started his own label, Body High, with Jerome Potter in 2011.

To raise the new, one must raze the old. For the better part of the past decade, Los Angeles producer/DJ Jerome Potter has utilized his creative efforts toward LOL Boys, a collaborative project that was sparked via an online message board with likeminded DJ Markus Garcia. Undoubtedly a fruitful endeavor, debuting numerous buzzworthy EPs and becoming among the most in-demand DJs in the LA club scene, the LOL Boys recently reached their climax with the release of their most acclaimed record to date, the Changes EP, and have since announced their decision to put the venture on an indefinite hiatus. From the ashes of LOL Boys though, rises Jerome Potter’s newfound solo enterprise, Jerome LOL. And now, with the ability to contribute to the entire greater whole rather than just half, Jerome LOL is set to continue right where LOL Boys left off: further exploring uncharted spectrums in modern dance music while still maintaining the unique, Internet-fueled aesthetic.

World domination, butts, drank, money, records, but mostly butts. I just moved to Portland and have yet to go to a local show. I’ve heard great things about these artists and, being a musician myself, would like to meet some people from the local music scene. Plus, I’m broke and direly need to take my wife on a date.
