I would love to take my friend who is far past due for an outing that will be a blast! She is known as “St. Arleen”, because she not only nursed her bedridden mother in law in her own home, who recently passed, but also houses and nurses her own ailing Mother who is battle Parkinson’s Disease, and her sister who is disabled from severe Epilepsy, all the while working a full time job. She is my inspiration and hero, and would love to give her a gift of fun!

  17. Amy April 10, 2013 at 4:38 pm #

    This is the winning comment.

Also, I REAAAAAAALLY want to try both the Full Sail LTD 5 and the Fort George offerings.

  27. Stacie April 10, 2013 at 4:48 pm #

My husband and I are starting our family soon, and this would be the best “last hurrah” I could ever think of. We missed the last brew fest that was here because I was sick, and I had thought that I would just have to wait for a few years. I would really appreciate a chance to win. We love the local beers around our Oregon/North West, but haven’t had the chance to try all the ones listed. This would also be the best early birthday present.

Thank you for your consideration. :)

  28. Cassi April 10, 2013 at 4:51 pm #

I’m in my last term of college and I’ll need to take a break from thesis writing by the end of the month. I can’t think of a better way to relax than to go to Brewfest for the first time!

Alas! Thee life giving nectar that is known as ale. Doth be more meaningful than that of the essence we so quaintly call purity. Oh to attend thy festival, would make thee jubilent and vivacious and proud. Blessed thine poor poor soul with thee gracious tickets and thoust thanks will be given forever more.

My husband and I LOVE Oregon Gardens! As native Oregonians we have enjoyed staying several times with my sis and her hubby close to Christmas. The drive from Portland is lovely, as is taking advantage of the comfortable rooms, the delicious food and complex gardens. Last December my sister and I stayed for a ‘sisters’ night, taking advantage of the spa! We LOVE you, Oregon Gardens! Still I have NEVER seen the gardens anytime but Winter! My husband and I would have another reason to celebrate The Oregon Gardens while toasting fabulous brews!

  115. Stanley April 11, 2013 at 4:23 pm #

I would like to go to this because I enjoy attending beer festivals and pretending like I know more about beer than I actually do. Plus, I’ve never been to Silverton, and this sounds like as good of an excuse as anything.

  116. Julie April 11, 2013 at 4:37 pm #

That sounds phenomenal! I love the Oregon Garden. Fingers are crossed.

  117. Elizabeth Martin April 11, 2013 at 4:41 pm #

  139. martin April 12, 2013 at 5:42 am #

I made reservations at the Silverton Inn on the day they announced the dates for the brewfest, because I figured the prices would go up the longer I waited. So that’s my reason for wanting tickets. Also I hope there is a shuttle bus again this year.

  140. ian April 12, 2013 at 6:54 am #

Sounds way cool, I want in!

  141. Kjersten Klinginsmith April 12, 2013 at 7:18 am #

  152. Trav April 12, 2013 at 12:43 pm #

As a beer lover I’ve always wanted to attend festivals such as this, however having just recently relocated to the area I’ve found money being extremely tight. As in learn 10 ways to cook ramen tight, actually. As I can’t afford to go out almost ever, winning this would be like a Cinderella story, if Cinderella was a guy and the prince was a microbrew. And the pumpkin was a cab.

  153. lindsay April 12, 2013 at 2:26 pm #

    1) Never been 2) New to the world of beer and want to learn 3) Beer and lastly 4) more beer

As a stay at home dad of one autistic 5 year old and a bossy 3 year old, AND a full time student at PCC during my time “off”, I leave the house on leisure activities maybe once every 2 months. If I won, not only would I have an excuse to leave the house and relax for a bit, but a little beer has never hurt the decompression and relaxation process!

  168. Kalima April 13, 2013 at 12:12 pm #

why you makin me do math? LOL. I would enjoy this with my buddy from work, who is leaving us soon!! Thanks

  169. Justin Godoy April 13, 2013 at 2:15 pm #

I want to go and drink my face off…in a respectable way of course. I would also like to rub the fact that I won tickets to this in the face of my good friend Kevin Fitdner.

  170. TKS April 13, 2013 at 4:05 pm #

Can’t imagine a better setting for a brew fest! Two of Oregon’s best things: its greenness and beer in the same place? Can’t beat that.

  175. Greg April 14, 2013 at 12:00 am #

My life depends upon this. Really. Turns out that if I don’t drink a beer at the Oregon Garden Resort on that exact day, I will disappear from the face of this earth. Granted, I will then exist on another plane in another dimension, but for this earth and this dimension .. fragit’about it.

  176. Sandy April 14, 2013 at 1:38 pm #

Would live a relaxing day enjoying beer in a great place

I would be taking my partner who is paying to get her masters degree in nutrition. We would never be able to afford something like this, and I love gardens and wonderful craft beer. Thanks for your time.

While we don’t have the excuse of an upcoming birthday or baby, we would love to be able to attend the Brewfest at the Oregon Garden this year! We paid our taxes and have nothing left to show for ourselves for another several weeks. I’m a public school teacher in need of a beer and some fresh air. Help a public service worker out!!!

  199. seong April 21, 2013 at 3:14 am #

As a Canadian recently moved to Portland, I want to see what the local independent breweries have to offer. As a beer connoisseur, I feel that I would appreciate the tickets more than anyone, and may attempt to make Portland my new permanent home. That and I take really awesome pictures.
