San Francisco’s Super Diamond has become one of the most popular live shows at major nightclubs, theaters, ballrooms and public events throughout the United States. For over a decade the band has consistently performed sell-out shows at venues such as Irving Plaza in New York, 930 Club in Washington D.C., Bimbo’s in San Francisco, and House of Blues venues in Chicago, Los Angeles, San Diego, Cleveland and Dallas to name but a few.

At these venues Super Diamond has generated an exuberant audience response previously unheard of for a tribute band. Many would say that Super Diamond has transcended the label of “tribute band” by passionately immersing themselves in Neil Diamond’s huge repertoire and delivering a high-octane show of unforgettable classics such asCracklin’ Rosie, Sweet Caroline, Forever in Blue Jeans and many others.

Super Diamond has also performed at landmark venues and events such as Hollywood Bowl, Taste of Chicago, Fenway Park in Boston, Coors Field in Denver and numerous fairs, festivals and corporate celebrations across the country and overseas.

I have always been a huge fan of Neil Diamond’s music. When my children were growing uo they patiently endured it being played at home constantly. Sweet Caroline became somewhat an anthem for us as a family. I have a six year old granddaughter named Caroline in honor of our memories. I am now 70 years old and tickets to Neil Diamond are very out of reach financially for me. My wonderful son has asked me If he could take me to see Super Diamond on February 8th. It was a very emotional moment for me when he asked and I am excited beyond words. It would be nice if we could win the tickets and then we could also have dinner. We live in Hood River and we will also need to get gas. It would just be so great to surprise HIM with the tickets! It will be a night I will always remember. Thank you for considering me. It’s not unusual to be hoping to win tickets to see the sexy sequined spectacle that is “Super Diamond.” I could use a serotonin boost … the kind that can only come from several pints of Hammerhead and an evening of energetic healing via “Brother Love’s Traveling Salvation Show.” Fingers crossed.

    hooray for super diamond!

  20. Angie February 7, 2013 at 5:21 pm #

Could it possibly be as good as David Spades version of “brother love`s traveling salvation show” in the movie Lost & Found?? I’m there!!

  21. Ellana February 7, 2013 at 7:45 pm #

I have always loved Neil Diamond’s music. It takes me back to that place when ever I hear it . I would love to enjoy a evening revisiting old times , familiar songs and favorite memories. What better way to do with with an evening rocking out to the tribute band, Super Diamond. I’m ready to get out of my chair, dance and sing along. FUN!!

Winning these tickets would absolutely make this a wonderful year! My girlfriend has been a fan since the very beginning, and when I told her they’re playing in Portland she was just devastated because she was recently laid off from her job at the crematorium and therefore can’t afford tickets and gas to travel from Southern Oregon. I’m sick with an auto-immune disorder and am on a fixed disability income or I would buy the tickets in a heartbeat. If we won them I would find a way to get us there…it’s pretty easy to find people who are willing to pay gas money for a ride to the city from here and my little VW bug gets awesome mileage. If you pick me it will almost be like granting a wish for a sick kid…except this kid is 42 years old and still needs to rock the fuck out from time to time. I remember seeing this band play down in Chico CA a few times while I was going to school down there about a decade ago. I haven’t seen them again since that venue shut down shortly before I moved away, but maybe seeing them again will help uncover some of those memories that were lost in the bottom of all those Long Island ice teas I drank at Panama’s when my friend did the ol’ bracelet-switch-trick with me so I could hang out on the patio with everyone else while I was still only twenty. I wish I could remember all the shows I saw there. I kind of wish I graduated college, too…
And I wish I could push the “publish” button already. Like I said…I never graduated college. I wasn’t prepared for a 1000 word essay tonight, but it keeps suggesting that my post is too short. And now I’m starting to wonder if I would have graduated from college, maybe I could just afford to buy the damn tickets instead of reducing myself to cyberpanhandling. But no, I’d probably still be poor. But poor people need fun, too. They just have to beg.
