Over the last few years Sugarcane has evolved into one of the top bluegrass-rock bands on the West Coast and is showing no signs of slowing down. A sweet mix of country, Caribbean, blues and bluegrass, the band can move both feet and mind with their impressive original tunes.

Good Gravy’s (Colorado) flavor can be described as a contemporary approach to American roots music. Within their recipe, are the remnants of bluegrass, rock, folk, jazz, and even caribbean music. This band has an eclectic earthy palette that is even furthered by the use of improvisation, a hard driving rhythm section, and occasional electric instrumentation

I’d like to attend because my boyfriend’s idea of diverse music is listening to two different Evanescence songs and I love live music and need to prove to him that it is wonderful and exciting! I always write nice, long responses and never get picked. Please let this time be different!

Would love to win, as my eldest daughter returns home today and she would love to attend this show with her old man!

Well, I’m kinda ashamed to ask for free tickets since the Sugarcane band members of are close acquaintances of mine. I should probably shell out and give them my monday… But, dangit I’ve got my own bills to pay, guys!

What is up with the people above me? “is is”, really, Andy, check your work. At least Amanda up there provided an update. I was a little worried that Sugarcane wanted to take all my Mondays.

In any case, I’d love to go to this because I love Sugarcane and I think they’d love to see me at thier show. Also, I’ve been having a tough time as of late….it’s been freezing outside but there is no snow, my tax return has to go to my mortgage instead of something fun, my rabbit ate the charging cable to my helicopter and I’ve really been wanting to play with it, Netflix refuses to put up new episodes of Downton Abbey to stream, nobody wants to buy my chandelier off Craigslist, I haven’t relocated my Christmas boxes to storage yet, I had to wait in line at the zoo to see the baby elephant and then got pushed through and out of the viewing area so others could see her, the new Portland Aquarium won’t have thier puffins until March (even though it’s awesome anyway), I haven’t won any free concert tickets since Snow Patrol, Chicken Bar closes too early on Saturday to get there in time for dinner and to top it off, the actual post I had was erased because I forgot to do the math problem.

What a tough life, I totally should win these.
