    I’m not really that naughty…

but I could use, and find, some tutelage here! Help me out.

    And happy Krampus Nacht

(it doesn’t sound as fun as it is, I’m guessing)

Oh the party, the warm nuts, the cozy nog- all look good with my matching sparkling low cut gown and fabulous horns. Make way! Make way! The queen is elbowing her way on the dance floor, to GET DOWN!

I want to forget I’m a broke wage-slave working in Christmas retail hell and treat my friend, who is also broke and working this holiday season. Also, my Krampus costume is AWESOME and I want to “properly” celebrate my German heritage. I have the endorsement of all my child-owning friends.

  10. Michelle November 28, 2012 at 4:05 pm #

I need to have an excuse to wear my lovely headdress!

  11. Megan November 28, 2012 at 7:57 pm #

Because I have always wanted to go, have never been able to, and live within stumbling distance.
Because I love dressing up and go all out even on short notice.

Bitte sehr!!! This sounds like a down right awesome event, especially since I have a perfect mask that I picked up while living in Germany. Help me revisit good old memories?

Because my friend just moved back to Portland and we’ve been looking for a fabulously naughty reason to let our hair down, our horns show, and let our demons loose among the populous. This would be just the ticket and sounds like a fabulous ride. This will be our first Krampusnacht celebration!

  18. mary b November 29, 2012 at 10:22 pm #

because I want to see Rhianna sit on Krampus’ lap ;)

My wife is from Croatia and she has told me stories and shown me pictures of these ‘goat-man’ festivals over there and this weekend is her birthday!

It would be a perfect birthday night out, especially since we haven’t had a night out together since the baby, who coincidentally, acts like a goat, trying to eat everything she can get her hands on….

I spent 6 months working in Salzburg, Austria, where I met my boyfriend, Peter. He arrived in the US in October, and is here at least until his travel visa runs out. It’s his first time in America, and I would love to take him to the Krampus Nacht Ball to give him a taste of home in the midst of American holiday hubbub. I promise we’d wear lederhosen & dirndl to entice some Krampusse :)
