  52. amanda October 18, 2012 at 3:59 pm #

  56. Andrea October 18, 2012 at 4:42 pm #

As one of the 23 million unemployed people in this country I have taken advantage of my forced sabbatical to learn a new trade. My quest to create the quintessential PDX Cocktail gives me a reason to get up in the afternoon. A scholarship to attend the GADF would greatly advance my burgeoning career.

  57. Jonathan October 18, 2012 at 4:47 pm #

Heck yeah! PDX pipeline gettin us in the ‘spirit’!

  62. Erika October 18, 2012 at 5:35 pm #

My guy and I are on a mission to try something new each month. We’ve done brewery tours and festivals, but we’ve yet to explore the distillery side of things! This is the only weekend we have off together in October and we still don’t have our “new thing” planned. This would be perfect!

  63. B October 18, 2012 at 5:35 pm #

    I’m low on spirit(s)!

  64. Meg October 18, 2012 at 5:41 pm #

  65. Anthony October 18, 2012 at 5:42 pm #

I love that so many distillers have popped up in Oregon (especially PDX) in the last few years, but there are so many I have yet to try. You can help change all that!

  79. Charlie Y. October 19, 2012 at 1:26 am #

    A two day cocktail festival?

Wow, it sounds like total immersion in back-to-back episodes of ‘Mad Men’, but without all that suit & tie, office/hobbies small talk, pretentiousness and melodrama stuff… You know, Portland-style – with a twist.

  80. Rob W October 19, 2012 at 1:35 am #

    because someone’s gotta do it

  82. Amanda Skourtis October 19, 2012 at 7:05 am #

Oregon has just as much a reason to “bring it” in the area of spirits as they do for our beer and wine. I am an enthusiast of all three, and would be honored to enjoy a complimentary experience to enjoy spirits from Oregon and libations from across our fair country! Cheers!

  83. Audrey Burr October 19, 2012 at 9:00 am #

What a great way to learn more about different spirits … perfect timing … right before Halloween :)
