It’s my three year anniversary this week and I’d like to take my girlfriend to her first real burlesque show. That it would be comic book heroine-themed is just the icing on the cake.

We all have a superhero inside of us. Even as I sit here at my desk at a day job, I am wearing my Wonder Woman Underoos from 5th grade. I am just waiting for someone to try to mug someone for their vending machine cheetos here at the office so that I can leap up on my desk, tear off my business suit, and hogtie the mugger with my golden lasso. This is why I want to see the Superhero Burlesque.

I’m volunteering at Stumptown Comics Fest this weekend, and it would be the cherry on top of a perfect day to be able to see a bunch of beautiful girls in awesome superhero outfits doing their sexy dances!
