moe. is the preeminent progressive rock band on the music scene today. With 20 years of touring and just as many albums under its belt, the quintet of Al Schnier and Chuck Garvey on guitars and vocals, Rob Derhak on bass and vocals, Jim Loughlin on percussion and vibes, and Vinnie Amico on Drums, continues to push the standard for performance art.

Critical acclaim and a solid national and international fan base has built a dedicated following that grows each year. Whether touring across the globe, headlining music festivals, or sharing the stage with such celebrated acts as the Allmans, The Who, or Robert Plant, among others, what keeps moe. At the forefront of the music scene is not only the energy and vitality of their music and songwriting, but the showmanship in which it is delivered.

Join us as we celebrate a century of rich history at the intersection of 13th and Burnside! The Crystal Hotel celebrates its 100th birthday (and the Ballroom is quickly nearing its own century-mark), and so we dedicate this weekend to music, tastings, workshops and more! Visit our Crystal Centennial page for a complete schedule and other information!

I would absolutely LOVE to go to this show. In fact, I’ve planned to purchase tickets for months but just can’t afford it (darn mortgage)! Haven’t seen Moe. since Horning’s Hideout 2010 and they simply brought it. If I can’t win tickets I will probably stand outside trying to listen from the street. Please don’t leave in me out in the cold wind & rain.

  10. Panda Bear January 26, 2012 at 3:12 pm #

Please send me to Moe dot!!! Puhleeeeeease…*with a cherry on top*

  11. Andy January 26, 2012 at 3:19 pm #

    Moe dot. Oh, hell yeah!
Been waiting a long time to take the wife out to show them how good these cats are. Excellent beer and outstanding tunes makes for one excellent night. With free tickets, could even take the pretty women out for dinner before the show.

  12. James January 26, 2012 at 4:00 pm #

Jammin’ with MOE. I’d like to go. Let me know.

  13. David January 26, 2012 at 4:13 pm #

moe. at the Crystal?! I’ve been wanting to check these guys out on the sweet, sweet bouncing floor ever since I saw them play the Hideout.

Crossing fingers for an outstanding night of dance!

  14. Renee January 26, 2012 at 4:33 pm #

Please, please, please, please. I don’t know what you want me to write so I’m begging you–pretty please with granulated sugar and cherries and whip cream on top? I’ve tried to win tickets many times, but it never happens. I’ve given you my financial sob stories; I’ve written creative pleas; and I’ve even tried to convince you that the show would be better with me there. (Due to my superb dancing skills and my boyfriend’s infective laugh.) But this week, I’ve got something good: it’s my birthday week! I really, really, want to see moe.! I need to see some live music!

My birthday is this week and my boyfriend’s birthday is next week. Yay, aquarius! This show could be our awesome birthday celebration! We can’t afford to buy our own celebration tickets and desperately need a miracle! I haven’t seen moe. in ten years and would LOVE the opportunity.

I have one of my best friends flying into town and I want to show him how great PDX can be! The Goodfoot is the perfect place for that, esp with this act.

  22. JON January 26, 2012 at 9:04 pm #

Because my best friend’s name is Moe and how rad would it be to ask Moe to go see Moe to moe row night?

  23. Kaitlin January 26, 2012 at 11:40 pm #

I don’t even really care about seeing Moe. The only reason I want tickets is because the other day I was making waffles in the kitchen when Fred Armisen and the powdered toast man from Ren & Stimpy smashed through my window, grabbed my dog, put him in a shopping cart, and ran out of the house and down the street. I ate some waffles, with real maple syrup, and then quickly chased after them only to find them already boarding their space ship. They flew away before I could reach the ship. Later that day I received a ransom note listing the following demands:
1 football helmet full of cottage cheese
1 prescription fish bowl for Fred’s near sighted goldfish
1 $15 gift certificate to panda express
2 trimet passes (they’re not getting any cheaper)
    16 million carbon credits
2 Tickets to Moe. Saturday night

I have to meet their demands by Saturday if I want to get my dog back before they all fly out of our galaxy forever. I have already come up with everything except the two tickets to Moe, which I can’t seem to find anywhere.

Help me bring my dog home?

  26. alex colville January 27, 2012 at 11:18 am #

Have listened to moe. For over a decade. I’m a poor graduate student studying the brain. What better way than to watch chuck melt peoples brains.

  27. Kourtney January 27, 2012 at 5:43 pm #

    Cause I’m a moe. hoe.

  28. Matt January 27, 2012 at 6:15 pm #

Back in the mid 90’s when I was in college, there was this guy in my dorm who would wear a ‘moe.’ tshirt all the time. When I’d see him walking out I would hang out my third story window and yell “Hey Moe!” and we’d have a little chat. Later I found out his real name was Ben but he’ll always be Moe to me. Now give me those tickets.
