Warren Haynes’ long-anticipated solo album, Man In Motion (Concord Records), is a timeless collection of songs that crackle with modern vitality yet draw on his deepest roots as an artist.

The disc pumps fresh blood into the heart of soul and blues, stoked by Haynes’s Herculean prowess as both a powerhouse singer and guitarist – a reputation he’s earned as a member of three of the greatest live groups in rock history: The Allman Brothers Band, The Dead and his own Gov’t Mule.

For Man In Motion, Haynes draws on his dynamic gravel-and-honey voice and stunning six-string syntax to create melodies that frame the past with the present, fusing enduring themes of love, desire and loss with bristling undeniably contemporary energy.

American blues and rock and roll is the reason my boyfriend learned English. Growing up he idolized players like Warren Haynes, Joe Bonamassa, Eric Clapton, and The Beatles. He has recently become a U.S. citizen, and the anniversary of his arrival in the U.S. is coming up very soon. It would be so special to be able to celebrate by treating him to a show of one of his favorite rockers. Thanks!

I love the guitar of the man Warren Haynes, he’s out here with his lion mane, he comes so rockin’ hard, but he plays such sweetness on his guitar.

I only recently discovered ‘Uncle Warren’, and my life hasn’t been the same since. This guy is my guitar hero and inspiration to write and create music. He is unmatched in vocal and guitar mastery! He is the hardest workin’ musician I will ever know– keepin’ rock n’roll alive and thriving! One way or another I’m gonna’ get in to the show, and I hope it’s with your cosmic help!

This experience was also capped with my first french kiss with an older chick…no drugs or anything involved…here’s to reliving the greatest moments of your life!! I hope whoever wins will have an unforgettable experience
