Miss Frankie Tease cordially invites you to experience some of Portland’s most talented TIKI performers Friday April 22, 9pm at the Tonic Lounge.

Polynesian attire is requested. Siren of the Sea Clothing and Accessories, “Stanley’s” vintage polaroid photo booth, and a marketplace of tiki vendors will be on hand, each contributing to an exciting tiki themed raffle for the party.

Sneaky Tiki and the Lava Lounge Orchestra [Tiki Oasis ’10, Tony Starlight’s] is a unique ensemble that blends layered textures of rich musical sound. The music chosen is that of past musical gods such as Les Baxter, Juan Garcia Esquivel, Martin Denny, Arthur Lyman, Henry Mancini, Perez Prado and others; as well as traditional Polynesian music. The orchestra incorporates lovely Hawaiian melodies, lounge, surf, Exotica and Jazz traditions to transport the listener to an exotic paradise!

Drew is on a non stop quest as a vinyl archeologist, and fearlessly travels deep into the audio jungles and dusty crates to excavate a tantalizing mix of solid get down action sounds! Prepare to Shake, Shimmy, Stomp & Twist as Drew will be spinning a solid sexodelic all vinyl mix of Rare Exotica, Soul, Surf, RnB, Lounge, Tiki, Boogaloo, Spy-Fidelity, Mod Jazz & Many Other In Sounds From Way Out!

Meghan Mayhem [TIKI OASIS ’08,’09,’10,’11]:
Meghan Mayhem is The Pacific Island Pin-up who originally hails from Honolulu, HI where she helped create Hawaii's first burlesque troupe, Cherry Blossom Cabaret, in 2007.You can now find Mayhem heating up the stage with her undulating hips,fire eating, and tassel twirling talent throughout the PacificNorthwest. She struts the stage throughout Washington, Oregon, and California and is also member of the coveted Rose City Shimmy. Mayhemalso appeared in Tease-O-Rama 08 and Tiki Oasis 08, 09, 10 and 11.A vivacious and spirited show girl with a wild Afro-Brazilian twist,Mayhem dominates the stage with a raw and untamed presence that will leave your heart aflame.

The Dolly Pops [Tease Time]:
The Dolly Pops are a Portland based collective of six models and dancers. Their debut was in July 2010 and they are regular features of TEASE TIME. They have graced MANY stages throughout Portland and are quickly becoming a part of not only burlesque stages, but all types of events including: Reed College , Rockabilly Shows, Portland Chamber Music, and Art Modeling. A mass of expertise in movement of several genres (including, ballet, modern, jazz, belly) this troupe is fun on any occasion, on stage or atmosphere. The Dolly Pops will be doing a synchronized dance for your viewing pleasure at this show and will be available for vintage Polaroid photo shots with patrons for a nominal fee after their performance at the Tonic Lounge.

Lucky Lucy O Rebel [Tease Time Comics, Tease Time]:
The pint-sizes pin-up, fan dancer and classic burlesque beauty Lucky Lucy O’Rebel is a pint sized pinup with a little charm and a whole lot of attitude. Originally performing in Seattle Lucy has brought her energy and enthusiasm with a classic sex appeal to every performance. This little hellion will tease her way into your heart with her hypnotic shimmy and shaking. Lucky Lucy O Rebel has been a starred feature performer of Portland’s premier Themed monthly Burlesque Show “TEASE TIME”, and has made national pin-up covers as well as ‘hot rod’ pin-up and tattoo lifestyle print media.

Miss Frankie Tease [Hangover Helper, Tease Time]:
is a Performer, Producer and Host of Burlesque events in Portland, Oregon, and frequent model at the Art Institute of Portland. She is the founder and creator of Tease Time Comics weekly web strip, as well as the creator of Tease Time and Hangover Helper Burlesque Shows. She is a trained professional American Social Ballroom Dance Choreographer and Instructor, and is also the Creator/Director of Live Art, Portland’s Character Drawing/Photography session. Frankie will perform and is the booker and organizer, producer, and host of the Tiki Tease Time Burlesque Show and party, as well as all the Tease Time shows.

BROOKSIE VAN PELT [Hangover Helper, Tease Time]:
‘Brooksie’ is the quintessential art deco girl and modern day flapper. She has been modeling vintage clothes and doing old time pin-up styles for two years now, her specialty is looks from the teens, 20s and 30s. With a background in the beauty industry (for many years), she is a fully licensed cosmetologist and used to do hair and make-up for stage, brides, shows, editorial and photography. Her next adventure along with modeling is to be Portland’s premier 1920’s candy cigarette girl. Brooksie also has a nightly stretching ritual and wants to be a contortionist in a vaudeville show when she grows up.

Sofia Flash [Vancouver] will perform burlesque for the first time on the Tease Time Burlesque Show stage, in a full tiki tribute and strip tease. This brunette beauty has a lot to … um reveal, all in the right places.
