The Blazers are at the FedEx Forum tonight to do battle with the 10-14 Memphis Grizzlies.

This is the Blazers second meeting with the Grizzlies this year, which the Blazers won 100-99. Wes Matthews, starting for the first time as a Blazer, blew up for 30 points.

Not much has changed for the Grizzlies since the first meeting. They're still not going to play defense, rebound or make an extra pass. They're going to do their best to outscore you.

The Grizzlies on paper.
Starting five: Zach Randolph, Rudy Gay, Marc Gasol, Mike Conley, O.J. Mayo
Off the bench: Tony Allen, Darrell Arthur, Greivis Vasquez, Xavier Henry, Hasheem Thabeet, Sam Young

MISCELLANEOUS NOTES
Basketball Reference says the Blazers are 50/50 to make the playoffs and are destined to play .500 basketball for the rest of the season. Mediocrity: the Blazers has it.

STRATEGY
The Grizzlies get a lot of production from their starting five. Which means the Blazers can win if they play solid defense and find some production from the bench.

BOTTOM LINE
If the Blazers are going to make the playoffs this year, they're going to need to take care of buisness against sub-.500 teams on the road. Even if it's their second game in as many days.
