The Blazers wrap up their second east coast road trip tonight in Memphis against Zach Randolph and his 4-7 Grizzlies.

The Grizzlies have a strong offensive starting five. Rudy Gay is having a career year, doing a little bit of everything. Zach Randolph has been and always will be a 20/10 threat. Expect him to put his try-hard shoes on tonight against his former club. Marc Gasol has slimmed down is playing great basketball. O.J. Mayo is a great scorer that can do damage behind the arc and very little on the other side of the ball… Which happens to be a trait that all of the Grizzlies possess. They are not a good defensive team, giving up 106 ppg, which puts them 26/30 league wide.

With Brandon Roy out tonight, giving his arthritic knee some time to (hopefully) heal, LaMarcus Aldridge slides over into the driver's seat. Expect Randolph and Aldridge to exchange blows early and often. Aldridge needs to outwork Randolph on the block and on the boards for the Blazers to head home with a win tonight.

The Grizzlies on paper.
Starting five: Zach Randolph, Rudy Gay, Marc Gasol, Mike Conley, O.J. Mayo
Off the bench: Tony Allen, Darrell Arthur, Greivis Vasquez, Xavier Henry, Hasheem Thabeet, Sam Young

With Brandon Roy sitting tonight's game out, Wesley Matthews will start.
An internet doctor thinks some thoughts about Brandon Roy's knee injury. (With pictures!!!111) Choice quote: Does Brandon have a grade I lesion(s)? Maybe. … Does Brandon have a grade II injury? Or even a grade III lesion? Maybe. Wow. Could I be a doctor? …Maybe?

The Grizzlies are basically the exact same team as the Toronto Raptors: they score the ball well, but do not play any defense. Force them to take jump shots and crash to boards to avoid giving them any second chance opportunities and the Blazers should be able to grind out a win.

To date: 4-3-1.
I like the Blazers +1 tonight.

Rudy Fernandez.

Need a win tonight to prevent this road trip from be a total failure. Luckily the Blazers are playing the Grizzlies.
