Tonight: Pints For Pica & 2010 TBA Festival Guidebooks | Low Brow Lounge

The TBA Festival is right around the corner. The first night is next Thursday and there will be a free TBA opening night concert of Punk Rock Puppets (collaboration between Japanther and Night Shade Puppets) at Washington high school on SE Stark. The opening night concert last year was a huge party and if the weather is decent, should be the same this year (big beer garden!).

Tonight is “Pints For PICA” with 100% of proceeds going to PICA & you can get a guide to the upcoming TBA Fest.

From PICA press release:

Looking for an inside tip on TBA shows? Need to know more about this year's artists? Then help us tap the keg at The Low Brow for a pre-Festival Pints for PICA. 100% of the sales from PICA's Full Sail keg will go to support our artistic programming.

WHEN: TONIGHT Monday, August 30 at 5:00 pm
WHERE: Low Brow Lounge, 1036 NW Hoyt, Portland, OR

The PICA crew will take a break from build-out to hand out TBA guidebooks and help you plan your Festival. Have a beer, start a conversation, and get some practice in for your nightly visits to THE WORKS.

Special thanks to Full Sail Brewing and the Low Brow Lounge

Actually, our FREE late-night opening show is just “Japanther vs. Night Shade.” The “Opera Diva” refers to our evening kick-off performance by Rufus Wainwright with the Oregon Symphony!
