Portland’s Sand in the City returns this Friday to Pioneer Courthouse Square. I took many Sand in the City photos a couple years back and the thumbnails of those are posted below. It is always a great time and for a great cause. It’s free (donations accepted/encouraged) and there are special passes and events that you can purchase tickets for.

As the summer fundraising event for Impact Northwest, Yoshida’s Sand in the City brings the beach to downtown Portland. In just six hours, sand teams and architects transform over 450 tons of sand and 4,500 gallons of water into magnificent sand sculptures!

JAZZ IN THE CITY
Pioneer Courthouse Square will be closing from 6:30 to 7:30 pm to set up for Jazz in the City.
Purchases of beverages support the work of Impact Northwest. Drink tickets may be purchased at the entrances or at the merchandise booths.
