Where To Watch USA vs Brazil (Confederations Cup Final!) in Portland | June 28

USA Soccer, Confederations Cup Ideas, PortlandThis is a big one. USA vs Brazil. According to Mr. Wetzel at Yahoo Sports, this is the “most important game in U.S. soccer history“. From his article:

“Make no mistake about this, though, if the U.S. can defeat Brazil on Sunday for the Confederations Cup title, it will be the most important moment for soccer in this country ever.” Read more here

There are many places to watch huge moment in USA sports history in Portland, and here are some tips and my favorites.

Tanker Bar, 4825 SE Hawthorne

This has become one of my favorite bars to watch sports in Portland. Tim (owner) has done a fantastic job making this a nice place. I just called him and he said some great things about watching the the game there tomorrow. Sunday is all-day happy hour there meaning $1 off wells, $1 off micros (and they have a bunch of good ones) and food specials. He also said they just got in a newly release Session Black beer. Did I mention they have Buck Hunter?!! Doors open at 10AM.

More after the break

Beulahland, 118 NE 28th Ave

I watched several of the last World Cup games here including the final in the picture; it was always a great experience. I know that they also rocked the Euro Cup last year as well. Last time I was there, they had a couple TVs in the bar and a large projection screen in the dining area. It is sure to be packed.

North 45, 517 NW 21st Avenue

This is a nice bar and if you live in that area, one of your best bets.
From their website:

U.S. Soccer- vs Brazil, Cup Final, Sun, June 28th @ 1130am

North 45 has become the supporter hub-pub for U.S. World Cup Soccer. Come support all the US games in the pub!! Brazil vs. USA play this SUnday (June 28th) @ 1130am. Doors open at 11. Happy Hour prices for the game!!

Some other places likely to carry the game: Kell's, Thirsty Lion, Claudia's, Belmont Inn, etc…

There’s only one legitimate place I’ve found to watch it, the rest seem like scams :-/ You can see it over here though: http://unlocksports.com/watch28015.html

They make you do a little survey but after that it’s good to go :)
