Martin Luther King Jr. Film Footage: MLK Day in Portland

Obviously, tomorrow is Martin Luther King Jr. It's been already stated many times, but it is truly amazing that on the next day the United States will have its first black President. To observe this historical moment, Old Town Pizza is showing Civil Rights footage tomorrow evening in Old Town in NE on Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard.

Martin Luther King Day

6 hours of 16mm historic civil rights films

These are movies you cannot see anywhere else from Tom Robinson's extensive collection of vintage 16mm film. They are an incredible piece of history we'd like to share with you and your friends and families. If you possibly can, please stop by, even for a half hour. Bring someone.

These films are a solemn reminder of how far we've come since then and how very far we still have to go.
