Google Street View has come to PDX

From Enigma over at NetNinja

It would appear that Google's Street View has finally come to Portland. They must have come by on a weekend or really early in the morning, as my car is in the driveway.

Street-View Google Pine St Portland Oregon 97214

I am big fan of google, and they just made my own StreetsPDX more interesting as I can now add more info and not take 200,00 shots….and the iGoogle plus Firefox add-on–yeah, that's good stuff

Update: I see that in addition to the email he sent me, he also posted up more info at Livejournal:

In case you hadn't noticed, we finally have finally gotten Street View for Portland in Google Maps!

they musta came by near where i live months ago, as the “albina triangle” park doesnt have the new trees in it yet.

as for time of day, well, think like a boy scout — look at the shadows!

Wow – this must have been done in the last few months, as the old Bangkok Kitchen down the street from me has the new Asian Pearl sign. Plus it looks like my street was done on a late Sunday afternoon, as my car is out of the garage (usually only do this on Sunday) and there’s almost no other cars around (Again looks like Sunday), and the shadows are coming from the sun shining low in the West.
    This triiiiiipy.

I thought I saw something fishy driving down Belmont a couple weeks ago – a green minivan with a big multi-lense something or other on the roof.
