A-WOL invites you to enjoy this summer’s signature aerial event, Art in the Dark, with the original presentation of “TEN LAWS,” a collaboration including the full, live, commissioned soundtrack accompaniment by local musician East Forest.
Taking cues from the beauty and nature of the park surroundings, A-WOL stretches back into its roots for this 10th anniversary production, echoing a similar theme as that when it all began. Ten Laws features a raw, stripped-down performance, inspired by East Forest’s soundtrack- celebrating survival in the elements. Audiences can expect inventive apparatuses (including a new multi-rope hammock), awe-inspiring choreography, and lake and rain apparatus—right on stage!
A-WOL’s Art in the Dark annual performance is a fantastical, illuminated, full-length, evening production set in a unique and rare outdoor theater style setting. Transforming a dirt plot into a performance spot, each show is packed with the flavor of the Northwest and a wonderful taste of the talent this area has to offer!
Come see why A-WOL has grabbed the attention of OPB’s “Oregon Art Beat,” Travel Portland, and thousands of arts enthusiasts!
