Oregon Food Bank has announced the featured lineup at its 27th annual Safeway Waterfront Blues Festival presented by First Tech Federal Credit Union on July 3 – 6, 2014. Headlining artists Curtis Salgado, Los Lobos, Los Lonely Boys, Maceo Parker, Lee Fields & the Expressions and John Nemeth & The Bo-Keys join more than 100 blues acts on four stages over the July 4th weekend event to benefit Oregon Food Bank’s mission of fighting hunger and its root causes.
“We are very pleased that these legendary artists are performing at Portland’s hallmark music event to support our ever-important cause of raising funds and awareness for hunger relief in Oregon and Clark County, Washington,” said Laura Golino de Lovato, director of development, marketing and communications at Oregon Food Bank. “Sunday, July 6 will be admission by pass only. We’ll be announcing additional blues acts in the coming months that will round out our four-day festival, as well as information on passes in late March.”
