Vancouver’s most popular Brewfest is back – and ready for even more visitors.
Last year, more than 6,000 people attended the Vancouver Brewfest. This year, organizers anticipate 6,500 or more plan to enjoy the wide array of beverages, food and entertainment that are the hallmarks of the event.
“We just keep growing and getting more popular each year,” Gray said.
The festival will feature 60 Pacific Northwest breweries, cideries and meaderies with more than 120 different drink varieties to choose from.
“It’s going to be very fun,” Gray said. “And of course we’ll also have lots of live music, an oversized version of beer pong called Bear Pong, and plenty of prizes to win during the weekend tournament.”
The Vancouver Brewfest will have a food court set up in Propstra Square, the brick area of Esther Short Park, with several local vendors. Visitors looking to do a little shopping can also check out a variety of craft vendors that will be set up in tents around the festival.
Day passes are $30 each and include entrance, a 4-ounce tasting glass and 10 drink tokens, worth $1.50 each. Weekend passes cover all three days and cost $40.
Those who buy their passes before July 28 from vancouverbrewfest.com will get a $5 discount..
