I just moved to West Linn with my girlfirend, we came from Onsted, Michigan (too small to be called a town it is a VILLAGE). Close by in Brooklyn they perform the Tough Mudder at Michigan International Raceway. We have drove past this similar event and never knew this existed. Very interesting and intriguing. My girlfriend and I are wanting to see more of what Portland has to offer and found this opportunity on PDX Pipeline. Love the people, the environment and the surroundings. Just downloaded the app so we can have more chances at wonderful things happening locally. Take Care Oregonians.

  37. Steve Mattos September 10, 2013 at 10:33 pm #

As a wild land firefighter, I spend the whole summer running 7-10 miles a day when we’re not on fires for our physical training regimen. I live and work in Northern Nevada at +/- 4600′ and it’s hot here all summer, usually between 90 and 110.

    Running. Here. Sucks.

On the upside, whenever I go back to Portland (where I lived a few years back) or back to the Bay Area (where I’m from), I run like a champ and I enjoy doing it. I usually take a road trip to both areas at the end of the fire season and it would be pretty legit to head up to Portland and do a little mud run.

  38. Abby September 12, 2013 at 9:26 am #

    Dirty fun!

  39. Angela September 12, 2013 at 2:37 pm #

This summer my family and I decided to get active! We ran the Spartan and Warrior. It would be fantastic to add the Lee Farms 5K Mud Run to our 2013 events list. AND besides, I’d love to dress up in costume! Let’s Do This!!

  40. Natalie September 12, 2013 at 2:39 pm #

My husband has done many mud runs & since I’ve been pregnant for most of the last 3 years we haven’t been able to do one together. This ones sounds perfect for us to do!

  41. Kristen September 12, 2013 at 2:42 pm #

I wanna get dirty! I have never done this and have always wanted to!

  42. Cara September 12, 2013 at 2:42 pm #

Just got hitched at Lee Farms this summer and would love to make a second appearance! What if we promise to run it in our wedding clothes? If we win, we will do it!!

  43. Grego September 12, 2013 at 2:54 pm #

I’ve done a couple 5k races but never an obstacle course. I would love try one out!

  44. Christina Archambault September 12, 2013 at 2:57 pm #

  48. James September 12, 2013 at 11:59 pm #

I only run when chased. Hopefully I can persuade someone, or perhaps a whole angry mob, to chase me, so that I will be able to burn off the calories I’ve gained from this month-long nutter-butter bender. Seriously… will you chase me? I NEED this…

  49. seth francis September 13, 2013 at 5:29 pm #

Yes! this is my idea of heaven, a twisted, dirty heaven I know but heaven just the same. Let me fill my pants with mud, and cover my face with joy and sweat, I will don a costume that brings smiles and I will earn that ice cold bear through hard work and making everyone around me smile along the way.

  50. Marilyn @ Lipgloss+Spandex September 13, 2013 at 9:20 pm #

I would love to win because October 5th is my birthday! :)

  51. Mysti September 14, 2013 at 11:32 am #
