When Auggie Smith takes the stage, audiences across the country quickly realize that they’re in for an evening of riveting, take-no-prisoners standup comedy. During Auggie’s set, pop culture and political targets are dissected piece by piece into intelligently written manic rants.

A favorite at comedy clubs across the US and Canada, Smith first achieved national recognition on the syndicated “Bob and Tom Radio Show” (heard in more than 150 markets). This led to him playing sold out shows with the hugely popular “Friends of Bob and Tom Comedy Tour”. A seasoned veteran of standup, Smith has appeared on Comedy Central’s “Live At Gotham” and NBC’s “Last Comic Standing” to great acclaim. He is the star of his own standup DVD, Cult Following, and his comedy rants are in heavy rotation on both XM and Sirius satellite radio.

Watch Portland Trail Blazers vs LA Clippers: Preview, Food & Drink Specials

The Blazers lost their first game of the season on New Years Day against the rising LA Clippers. That was an away game, and tonight the Blazers get to revenge that loss at the Rose Garden. The Clippers are a likely playoff team and the first team the Blazers have played twice this season. With the shortened 2012 schedule and fast pace of the season, teams have to be in playoff mode all year. Perhaps tonight will be a good indication of how this Blazers squad will fare in the first round.

The games starts at 7PM on Comcast Sports Newtwork. If you do not have cable or want a good Portland establishment to enjoy with friends, here are several suggestions from our sponsors.
