November 2 – Women Who Play: A piano duo with Anne Young and Carolyn Horn (the latter from Eugene) will present a concert of lovely two-piano music with lively discussion. A digital piano will be used.

November 9 – Beverly Serra-Brooks: In this lively festschrift recital for the 200th anniversary of the birth of Franz Liszt, American pianist Beverly Serra-Brooks interweaves interesting and transformative moments from Franz Liszt’s life as a composer/performer, with some of his most beloved works for the piano such as the Sonnet 104, the Mephisto Waltz, and Un Sospiro. The recital highlights Liszt’s life, the emergence of the cult of celebrity and his influence on Romanticism and the piano.

November 16 – Trio di Belleza from the Oregon Chamber players will perform a chamber music recital. Program will include music of Vivaldi, Herzogenberg, Saint-Saens and others PLUS the premier of a piece composed specifically for our trio by composer George Kostopoulos.
