It’s almost mid-September, which means Portland Oktoberfest parties are starting to kick-off this weekend. Last year I met a couple from LA whom Widmer Brothers flew up for the weekend just to see/enjoy this huge festival. They come for real every year and you should check it out. 5000+ people can’t be wrong…right? The event is free to attend, but beer & food costs tokens. Info below….

Widmer Brothers Brewing’s Oktoberfest returns for a seventh year celebrating Munich-style ales and German food and music. Festivities will take place Saturday, Sept. 10 from 3 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. at Widmer Brothers Brewing Co.

Widmer Brothers Oktoberfest is a tribute to the world-renowned celebration in Munich, Germany, which draws more than six million people annually during the 16-day festival. Widmer Brothers version, although smaller in scale, is large in Oktoberfest spirit, drawing 5,000 attendees to this annual block party.
