The doors of City Hall will open wide to host the next installment of Whole Foods Market’s Flash Kitchen pop-up cooking class. This Flash Kitchen is designed to show Portlanders that anybody can make quick, healthy and nutritious summer meals without turning on the oven.
With a focus on delicious and simple, the new Flash Kitchen will feature Mayor Sam Adams, Commissioners Nick Fish, Amanda Fritz, Randy Leonard and Dan Saltzman and local chef Scott Ketterman of Simpatica restaurant creating a cold watermelon and cucumber salad with fennel and mint. The focus will be on summer seasonal ingredients.
