Early in his career Orny was named in The Hollywood Reporter as a favorite comedian to watch. He has written jokes for Jay Leno, Garry Shandling, and many other top comedians. He has twice written for the Annual Emmys Broadcast and has become the “go to” guy when a celebrity needs a funny line.

Club Atletico Independiente of Argentina take on the Timbers tonight in a friendly match at Jeld-Wen Field. Independiente is part-way into their pre-season and are coming off a convincing 3-0 win over the Ventura County Fusion of the Premier Development League. Independiente are one of only two teams to have never been relegated from the Argentine first division (Boca Juniors are the other). They are also one of South America’s most successful clubs, having won the Copa Libertadores seven times in addition to many other competitions.

The club’s nickname, “El Ray De Copas” (“The King of Cups”), will be put to the test against the Timbers whose most fervent supporters, the Timbers Army, have given them the nickname the “King of Clubs”.
