Michael ShrievePDX Pipeline: How long have you played drums?

Michael Shrieve: I started in 8th grade. I was asked to leave class for banging on the desk. They sent me to the principal. On the way back, I passed the band room and at the door was the percussion section. It fascinated me seeing the drums. I stayed and watched them and got in trouble again for being late. That day I went and bought my first pair of drum sticks and started playing on the carpet.
