PDX Pipeline welcomes new writer Will Conwell, who will be covering the Portland Timbers this season.

The Timbers look to continue to improve as a team and hope to steal a point against New England on Saturday.

The Revolution’s unbeaten record two games into the year is deceptive after numerous questionable calls during games against LA and DC. The Timbers will look to carry momentum from their first victory of the season, a US Open Cup win against Chivas USA at Merlo Field on Tuesday, into this game.
