Bikini Creature Beach Feature, is a satirical take on anything from the Frankie & Annette 1960′s beach party movies, grind-house biker flicks, to the B-horror genre; a bouillabaisse of characters like the one-gorilla wrecking crew Randy Bananas, sexy, pregnant and dune-buggy obsessed wiccan, The Sand Witch, the shambling & acrobatic terror of The Sea Monster, and a gaggle of bikini clad beach girls!

Ellis Marsalis was born and raised in New Orleans, Lousiana—picking up the tenor saxophone as a young boy, then shifting over to piano in high school. Marsalis cut his own path in the burgeoning Jazz landscape of the time by not locking himself into the stylings of Dixieland or Rhytham & Blues, instead forging his own path with other luminaries such as David “Fathead” Newman, Al Hirt and Cannonball Adderly.

Though he has appeared on countless albums over the years, with nearly twenty to his own credit, Marsalis is maybe best known now for his committment to teaching and progressing the philosohy of Jazz music, as well as rearing his own crew of legendary sons: Delfeayo, Jason, Wynton & Branford.

Lauryn Hill has changed the way we hear music. With one album, The Mis-Education of Lauryn Hill, Ms. Hill brought previously deemed difficult issues of justice and equality to a massive audience. Never before had “Popular” music been crafted with such depth and consciousness—and the accolades that followed are a testament to the importance of her works.

Following Ms. Hill’s ascendancy (from the hugely successful Hip-Hop group The Fugees on to her own solo releases), one can see the trajectory has always been one of commitment to a higher calling—using music as an instrument to help affect social change. Following years spent raising her children and family, Ms. Hill is here now to show that some things never change, even while everything else seems to.
