Portland Timbers 2011 MLS Jerseys Unveiled

Green, Red Alaska Airlines sponsored two-tone jerseys by Adidas,

On Thursday, the Portland Timbers unveiled their 2011 MLS jerseys at Portland International Airport. The team set up a runway for models, starting from a ramp that extended down from an Alaska Airlines airplane. Alaska Airlines is the official sponsor of the jerseys, which are made by Adidas.

The primary jersey is a two-toned green jersey and recalls past Timbers jerseys. The secondary jersey is, to the surprise of many, a two-toned red jersey. The team presented both colors in men's, women's and kids sizes, and in a long-sleeve variety. They also showed off track jackets, hoodies and team scarves.

Christmas Ship Parade
December 9-21, 2010

2010 marks the 56th year for the Christmas Ship Parade on the Columbia and Willamette Rivers in Portland, Oregon. The Christmas Ship Fleet averages about 55 to 60 boats between the two Columbia and Willamette River fleets.

Both fleets will be out every night for two weeks beginning December 9, 2010 and running nightly through December 21, 2010. As we are an all volunteer organization, not all the boats make it out every night.

GAME 22: Blazers vs Orlando Magic

The Blazers play host to both TNT and the Orlando Magic tonight. The Magic are 15-6, and coming off a Monday night loss to the Atlanta Hawks.

This is a very interesting game for the Blazers. They've managed to string two wins together against mediocre opponents, and now they get to play an elite team to see exactly where they're at. And it's on TNT.

Things to pay attention to:

1. This will be the Magic's second game of a five game trip, but it's their first game out west. The game will almost certainly start late (~7:45), which means the Magic will be starting this game at nearly 11:00pm and it will run well into the early morning.
