The Blazers are back at home after a disastrous 0-4 Eastern swing that featured losses to perennial NBA powers such as the Washington Wizards, New Jersey Nets and Philadelphia 76ers. The team is currently boasting a 6 game losing streak, and if you believe statistics, Ben Golliver points out that no team has ever made the playoffs after dropping six straight games. I'd like to add that I heard Colin Cowherd say on Sports Nation earlier this week that, “statistics are true until they're not.” Cowherd went to an intellectual level I simply do not have. I have no idea what that means. Just thought I'd pass it along.

The Blazers and Clippers played once already this year in Los Angeles, the Blazers were victorious, 98-88.

The Clippers on paper.
Starting five: Blake Griffin, AL-Farouq Aminu, DeAndre Jordan, Eric Gordon, Eric Bledsoe
Off the bench: Baron Davis, Ryan Gomes, Rasual Butler, Brian Cook, Chris Kaman, Crag Smith, Jarron Collins
