From Portland Halloween Bazaar:

The Portland Hallowe'en bazaar is an all ages community event happening in the Heart of the US's longest continuously ran amusement park… Oaks Park! Sunday, October 10th (10.10.10) from noon till 6pm.

With just over 50 vendors, live entertainment, food, a wedding, dance troupes and so many more pieces it is pretty difficult to encapsulate a PHB until it is actually unfolding.

We've got the Coffin Cruisers Hearse club and the Driven Dead and Cinema Classic car clubs on display, a costume swap as part of the National Green Halloween Costume Swap Day, McGruff the Crime Fighting Dog celebrating his 30th birthday and all sorts of other surprises in store for the families of Portland.

In our playoff preview, we noted that teams often like to play for the draw on the road and for the win at home; certainly no team plans on laying an egg like the Timbers did, conceding two goals in the first 13 minutes of play and failing to get on the board the rest of the way.

Although Thursday night was a disaster and Read the rest of this entry »
