July 26, 2010 at 1:54 pm
Awesome to see this comedy club opening! I love supporting my hometown of PDX and going to the opening of the club would be Tight!
July 26, 2010 at 2:04 pm
… because there’s nothing better than spending an evening with a comedian who can bring out my inner cackle! (Saturday night preferred)
July 26, 2010 at 2:20 pm
As president of the CARROT TOP fan club. I demand free tickets to see the competition and rate them based on hair color, amount of props and body mass.
cheers, ptr.

……because laughter is good for the soul. =)
July 26, 2010 at 4:00 pm
I NEED TICKETS! My boyfriend and I are poor and would love a date night that didn’t include hot dogs and redbox!
Either night preferred! If it’s free I am NOT picky!

“Need a Laughâ„¢â€
Indeed I do, any night would be fantastic!

July 26, 2010 at 9:29 pm
I would love to have tickets to Saturdays show….boy it would cheer me up. It’s been a tough year and I could use a laugh. First I had the roids and that lasted the first couple of months of the year. I could only sit for a few minutes at a time. Then came the lack of erection….okay I will admit I only got one while thinking about Thai ladyboys. I am sure if that is wrong or not.
Then the diarrhea started, I think that was because I was so poor that I switched to PBR and it just acted as a laxative.
But mostly the year has revolved my ass and I could use a good laugh to get my mind off my behind.

I need these tickets to negate the terrible experience my bestie and I had at what has been the only comedy club in town for the last 10 years I’ve lived here.
Luckily, the tickets are free, but you have to buy two items each and then suffer through bad food, weak drinks and overworked, rude waitstaff.
Oh and did I mention the headliners weren’t really that funny…hiss! boo!
I’d love to try out this new place and I hope against hope that they are heads and tails above what has been the only game in town.
July 27, 2010 at 2:31 pm
Woo hoo! I won! Can’t wait to check this place out!
July 27, 2010 at 4:17 pm
Oh, man! Give it to Anna. I can’t beat that.
I’ll just go back to frying ants with a magnifying glass.

July 27, 2010 at 6:37 pm

Friday would be great!!!

I have a very important reason that I need to go, but its coded Class 4 confidential and I’ve been instructed not to share more information than that with the civilian population–other than to say that it’s urgent that I be there Saturday night.
You could take the risk of not giving me the tickets, but why?

July 29, 2010 at 1:40 pm
I love Auggie! And would love even more to see this show! Thanks PDX Pipeline
July 29, 2010 at 1:55 pm
I would like to go because once you go to Harvey’s, they suck you in by calling you every day for the rest of your life trying to get you to come back with free tickets, yet charge you $10 for a show (MINIMUM DRINK PURCHASE). Lame.
July 29, 2010 at 2:05 pm
Bring on the laughs!
July 29, 2010 at 2:37 pm
I need a good laugh this weekend as the month of July has been a train wreck for me. It would be a perfect way to end this month and begin a better August and belly laughs are just what the doctor ordered. Thanks
July 29, 2010 at 3:19 pm
I’ve been waiting for this! I love stand up!
July 29, 2010 at 3:19 pm
Helium is EXACTLY what Portland needs. We are a cerebral city with a wicked sense of humor. We are voracious readers and need the written word and spoken comedy. I would love tickets to a Saturday show.
July 29, 2010 at 3:20 pm
hi there. would like to see Maria Bamford, does not matter which night. wanna go cause she is hilarious.!
July 29, 2010 at 3:31 pm
I can’t wait to come down for a show! Portland is in dire need for a new comedy club, and one in SE to boot! Hell, I could stumble home from there! My other half worked at Harvey’s for 5 years, and he would love it if I could surprise him! Honestly, I would go any night if you wanted to give me tickets! Thank you, and I am primed for a good time!
July 29, 2010 at 3:31 pm
Hi there. My birthday is Friday, July 30…I am going to be 44. I am thinking turning 44 needs some laughter vs. bawling, don’t you? I thought so…the Friday show would be the perfect solution. Thank you!
July 29, 2010 at 3:41 pm
What better way to spend an evening than to be used as a tool for a comic??? I’ve only been to one comic and must say it was funny. I hope this guy picks people out of the crowd and uses them for our comedy pleasure. Would love to have tickets to find out. Thank you.
July 29, 2010 at 3:42 pm
I need some dedicated laugh time!
July 29, 2010 at 3:44 pm
I’ve never been to a comedy club and with 6 kids, my husband and I could use a night out!!! I’d love to see the Saturday show!!!
July 29, 2010 at 3:46 pm
It’s my long-distance BF’s last weekend in town and I’d like to surprise him with something fun.
July 29, 2010 at 3:48 pm
I’ve seen the Harvey’s show, which has its shortcomings (mainly the venue), so it’s now time for a little comparison and competition! I’d love to attend Saturday night too. Hint Hint.
July 29, 2010 at 4:01 pm
My doctor says I should laugh more because it’s good for my health. Can you help me out?
July 29, 2010 at 4:22 pm

July 29, 2010 at 4:52 pm
I am a laugher from way back. Been doing it for years. What a perfect combination, me at a comedy show and hey doesn’t winning the tickets make it that much funnier? Laughter samples sent upon request.

I’m always extolling the experience of going to a good comedy club, yet I have found Portland lacking. I’ve been anticipating this opening for MONTHS and I live down the street… MATCH MADE IN HILLARIOUS HEAVEN

July 29, 2010 at 6:22 pm
Laughter is good medicine and I need some medicine!! A good smile would help too.
July 29, 2010 at 6:30 pm
I am excited about having a Comedy club on the east side of Portland. We enjoy comedy too! And a NATIVE Portland comedian? Maybe there would be some ORIGINAL jokes about the Portland rain, instead of the same old ones we keep hearing over and over again.
Even if I don’t get free tickets, I WILL BE THERE!
July 29, 2010 at 6:33 pm
