Lateef the Truthspeaker is an American hip-hop artist from the Bay Area who is part of the groups Latyrx (with Lyrics Born) and The Maroons (with Blackalicious' Chief Xcel). He was one of the founding members of the Solesides collective, which became Quannum Projects. Fatboy Slim's hit singles “That Old Pair of Jeans” and “Wonderful Night” feature vocals by Lateef and he is also featured on the single “Enuff” from DJ Shadow's album “The Outsider.”
