Free ish… We have tix here and will be giving away some on twitter (add @leighfeldman3) to RJD2, Tiesto, Ceu, B-Side Players, Devotchka, DJ P/Egytpian Lover and Live&Direct! Wanna win any of them? Forward this email to a friend, have them write us asking to join the group and we'll enter you both in a drawing to win — or follow us on twitter @leighfeldman3! (These are from Leigh, not Pipeline. Email him to join his list & win: leighfeldman3 @ gmail)

Free music ish… Who is Kane? On some message boards this has been a popular thread as this mix has surfaced – http://www.mediafire.com/?wmyzrz3dlwt – which is causing tons of people to speculate that it is a side project of Girl Talk.

Things to look for… The grand opening of Refuge on Saturday night! A new audiovisual center is hosting a huge celebration — open bar hour starting at 9pm, DJ P, Egyptian Lover, Datsik, Megaladon, Tyler Tastemaker, Merchants Of, Behnibubu, DJ Mercedes and tons more! Check out the new music/event/café/shopping space at 116 SE Yamhill.

To win: Comment on in our Facebook topic area here: http://pdx.be/fb-topics. While you're there, you can see other events to comment on ans win as well…

Winners drawn and messaged on Friday at noon. (Sadly, this means you will miss some of the shows).

From Cherry City Music:
Often mistaken as jaded hipsterism, Salemites love the true essence of independent, authentic culture. A quick tour of the bars and clubs around town will convert even the most discriminating skeptic of appropriated culture. We're the real thing.

The Cherry City Music Festival exposes the "specialness" of Salem to the world. Featuring many of the city's homegrown bands, we keep it real while hosting some of the nation's most influential independent bands and labels. With three nights of concerts and after parties in century-old performance halls, townies and out-of-towners forge relationships that leave permanent impressions.

AMP Summer Scholarship Fund Raiser

This Annual Scholarship was born from a necessity to ensure youth development in the arts and allow those youth who strive to further their education a chance to achieve college level art classes. To find out how you can be a part of changing a life through art and education check out www.amprocks.org or call William at 503-481-4970 , you'll be amazed at how little it takes to help youth go so far.

AMP-The Artist Mentorship Program (AMP) creates art and music opportunities for youth in a safe and healthy environment. AMP helps youth gain confidence by building artistic, social, and emotional skills through the arts. Youth are mentored and given instruction by working professional artists and musicians in the Portland community
