Blue Fiddles Official Trailer

From Benjamin A. Fluter:

…Blue Fiddles, produced exclusively for the web by Nena Botto, Alisyn Shaw, and Benjamin A. Fluter (Rose, You and Your Family). Nena Botto wrote and directed Blue Fiddles, the story of three women searching for meaning amongst the day to day grind living in Portland, Oregon. The theme is a mix of drama and comedy that aims to be glamorous through honesty- women who have scars from life experiences not from numerous Botox sessions.

Review: Xanadu @ Keller Auditorium | January 12-17

Posted by Tiffany Garner

My love/hate relationship with XANADU, the Broadway Musical.

Let me start by saying I am a huge fan of the movie XANADU. I watched it endlessly as a child, I owned it on VHS and I currently own it on DVD. I love this movie. I was beyond thrilled when I saw that the Broadway version was coming to Portland. I ran off to put together the perfect XANADU outfit.

When I arrived at Keller Auditorium I was severely disappointed in my Portland people for the extreme lack of legwarmers in the house. How was it possible that my date and I were the only people dressed for the occasion? And by dressed I mean full-on straight out of the mural goddess dresses and legwarmers. Its XANADU people, break out the 80's gear.

I was so excited when the show began but then I slowly started to realize Read the rest of this entry »

Brandon Roy Superstar 2009

Although the Blazers lost a tough one last night to Cleveland, Brandon Roy performed like an all-star once again*. Here is the his official all-star video, but I think the one above is quite better…although not a funny as having Travis Outlaw in the commentary.

There is no doubt he deserves an all-star vote from the fine people of Portland. If you haven't voted for him yet (if you have, you can still vote multiple times), you can do that here. Read the rest of this entry »
