• Brandon Roy Rip City NYE @ Agency ($35 — comfortable but upscale. Tickets at door but no guarantee those are going to last aka get there early aka we're about to get bizzy aka NYE 2010 WOOT WOOT AIR HORRRRN!!!!!!)
• TIME 2 w/ Flying Lotus, March Fourth, Bluetech, Eskmo, Tyler Tastemaker, Noah D, Danny Corn and so much more @ 24ten ($35 — wear what you want bc at the end people probably won't be wearing anything. Hands down my vote for what will be the wildest NYE party if you are into late-night/all night ragers. Not your typical NYE event)
• From Pipeline: Portland's Most Famous New Years Party: The Champagne Ball
• Alice In Wonderland Party w/ March Fourth & DJ Nature @ The Nines ($75 — dressy dressy. Mixed crowd in age, definitely a party, definitely lots of decorations)
• Platinum Pied Pipers, Lifesavas, Fix DJ's @ Someday Lounge ($25 — casual attire. An amazing lineup of live band hip hop. Good vibes, GREAT music, perfect setting and sounds for the New Year)
• Murder City Devils w/ Jello Biafra @ Roseland ($30 — wear what you want. This will be a rocktastic time!)
• Drop the Bomb Mobile Groove Bomb Party w/ Solovox, Manoj, Global Ruckus @ Crown Room ($20 — wear a costume like outfit. This crew knows how to party like it's Burning Man in Old Town Chinatown. This will be fun)
• From Pipeline: NYE 2010 Bubbly Bash at Eastburn: Free Champagne
• Gilt Club NYE w/ DJ Izm @ Gilt Club (FREE — comfortable but upscale. Food, music, great atmosphere, impress your date)
• Ground Kontrol NYE w/ Copy & DJ BJ @ Ground Kontrol ($15 — casual attire. Free video games all night long)
• NYE 102,010 w/ Beyonda, Linger & Quiet, Reporter Guidance Counselor @ Holocene ($15 — hipster attire required. This will be hot and sweaty and fantastic. All types of dance music dj's and dance music bands. You'll probably walk out having lost 8 lbs in water weight)
• New Years Nation w/ DJ P & DJ Nature @ PAM ($75 — dressy dressy. Two ridiculous dj's, a mixed crowd in age for sure, lots of people, lots of dancing)
• Boy Eats Drum Machine @ Radio Room (FREE — causal attire. Live band entertainment, cheap beer, cheap champagne)
• Club Crooks NYE w/ Ben Tactic, Easter Egg, Izm & DJ Criminal @ Tiger Bar ($5 — casual attire. An awesome alternative to the glitz and the glam and high prices. Good music, tons of dancing, drink specials galore)
• Chervona & Dingo Dizmal @ Alberta St. Public House ($10 — wear black and red. A Balkan brass NYE event with a steampunk clown)
• 2010 Champagne Gala w/ Starchile & DJ Juggernaut @ Report ($25 — comfortable but upscale. Solid music, dancing crowd, good mixture of people)
• Dan Reed, Oracle, Joe Nasty, Mechants Of @ Whiskey Bar ($12 — casual attire. Interesting mixture of music and vibes for sure. Should be a fun place to ring in the New Year)
